Cold Moon
A cacao ceremony is a heart-opening ritual using cacao to foster connection and reflection. The Cold Moon symbolizes introspection and the transition into winter. Together, they create a space for deep personal and spiritual exploration.
Join me in sacred circle, where we will commune with the radiant energies of the cacao spirit and the luminous full moon, embracing their wisdom and transformation.
Getting Ready:
Choose a Space: Find a quiet, comfortable area where you will not be disturbed for at least one hour. Consider a spot where you can see the moon, if possible.
Create a Sacred Space: Clear the area with sage, palo santo or any other herbs that you like. You can light candles or burn incense to enhance the atmosphere.
Set Intentions: Before the ceremony begins, take a moment to reflect on your intentions for the ceremony. What do you want to release, invite, or transform during this full moon?
Preparing your Cacao: Gently heat the ceremonial cacao with water in a pot (careful to never let it boil), I like to use 1 once or ceremonial cacao per cup of water, stirring while adding your and spices (you can add honey, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, or flowers to taste). Whatever you chose to add, use your intuition, and keep it simple ;) Focus on your intentions as you prepare your cacao.
Bless the Cacao: As you prepare, you can say a blessing or intention over the cacao, infusing it with your energy.
Ceremony:
Create Sacred Space: By calling on our ancestors and all light beings, as well as thanking the land, we honor the ones who came before us and ensure we are surrounded by a bubble of love.
Meditation: During the meditation, we allow the spirit of cacao to work on us and through us. It gives us the opportunity to focus on our breath, allowing our prone, life-force to remove any blockages and open our hearts.
Drink the Cacao: We start receiving the medicine through our nostrils, so it’s important to take our time when drinking cacao. Notice how it feels, it’s texture, all the tastes and sensations it provokes. As you drink, visualize the cacao opening your heart and amplifying your intentions.
Gratitude: We conclude the ceremony with a moment of gratitude for the spirit of cacao, the full moon, and the shared energy of all light beings present in the ceremony
